Walking Therapy

Where and how? 

 

The sessions ofWalking Therapy take place in two places in the Liège region, in particular the citadel park and the ninglinspo valley in Remouchamps, offering a natural setting conducive to relaxation and reflection.

The routes chosen are accessible to anyone. Of course, during our telephone conversation, we can discuss any specific precautions to take into account according to your needs. The goal is for each session to bring you the greatest benefits.

How long? 

 

The duration of a session varies from one to two hours, thus offering sufficient time to explore your concerns, discuss and progress on your path to well-being.

What is Walking Therapy?

 

ThereWalking Therapy is an innovative approach that I offer as a coach, combining outdoor walking with support sessions in the office. I strongly believe in the power of nature and physical activity to promote emotional, mental and physical well-being.

 

During our sessions ofWalking Therapy, I accompany you in beautiful natural environments such as parks and trails. Together we walk and have open, caring discussions about your concerns, goals, and well-being.

 

Walking outdoors provides an informal and relaxing setting that can help release thoughts and emotions, promoting more fluid communication and deep thinking. You will be able to feel at one with nature, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the calming environment as we work together to solve the challenges that concern you.

 

ThereWalking Therapy can be especially beneficial for those who prefer a more active approach, as well as those who find it difficult to express themselves while sitting in a traditional therapeutic setting. It is often used forr treat stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

Who am I?

  • animator andproject manager in a youth organization;

  • Assistant professor in high school.

My various professional experiences and my training path  shaped the professional I am today.

Graduated with distinction as an educator specializing in psycho-educational support forHELMo CFEL in 2018. I then graduated with distinction from a Master's degree in applied communication, specializing in media-education, in 2020, from theIHECS and Catholic University of Louvain

I was lucky enough to be able to follow various training courses, in parallel with my academic career and my job. Continuing education is, for me, a means  of personal fulfillment. My last trainings followed are:

  • Training "Gender and Youth" byScreen Asbl;

  • "The theater and movement methods to facilitate learning", proposed by the associationLeargas  in Dublin, as part of an Erasmus+ project;

  • "Visual Thinking" byResonance;

  • Proposed "Intersex Awareness Workshop" by plural genders;

  • "Transidentity Awareness Workshop" offered by  plural genders;

  • Life coach certifying training offered byCFDs.

My working time is divided between my activity independent, my master position assistant in High school and my job as an animator and project manager in a youth organization.The latter gives me the opportunity to work with groups whose age range varies between 2.5 and 30 years.

 

As a professional in the youth sector, my mission is to enable young people to become active, critical, responsible and supportive citizens.

It is the desire to devote part of my working time to more individual support that guided me towards my Life Coach training. With this choice of professional orientation, I have found the right balance.

TRAINING

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

Media education

Duration: 1H30 per session

It is tailor-made training for people who want to improve their ability to use new technologies.

The easy use of the smartphone, social networks, applications, the internet is not something innate but rather acquired. 

If you want to be more comfortable in your daily use, this training is what you need! Indeed, it is tailor-made according to your needs expressed beforehand. 

GROUP TRAINING

 

Interpersonal Communication Training 

Duration: Full day

 

At the end of this training experience, participants will be able to: 

  1. Communicate in a more assertive, clearer, non-violent and respectful way of oneself and of the other within the group, at the workplace, in various life contexts; 

  2. Adopt the appropriate attitude in the event of a conflict; 

  3. Distinguish between facts, feelings and opinions; 

  4. Expressing wishes, feelings and needs, with respect for oneself and others. 

Introduction to visual thinking 

Duration: 1 day 

 

During this training experience, participants will be able to: 

 

1. Have basic knowledge of visual thinking tools in order to synthesize, draw and communicate ideas and concepts more effectively;

2.  Learn to build and enrich your visual vocabulary in order to synthesize, draw and communicate ideas more effectively; 

3. Experiment with the practice of sketchnoting;

4. Develop their visual creativity.

Workshop managing emotions and stress 

Duration: 1/2 day 

 

During this training experience, participants will be able to:
